ARMANI GOES BEYOND THE SS27 MEN’S SHOW AND STAGES THE WOMEN’S CRUISE

At the Giorgio Armani Spring/Summer 2027 show many observers will have noticed a particular element: alongside the menswear looks, several female models also walked.

It was not a casual choice. Armani had officially announced a joint presentation of the SS27 Men’s collection and a selection of the Women’s Cruise Collection.

The decision proved effective. The women’s Cruise didn’t interrupt the men’s story, but widened it, building a single runway in which the codes of the maison moved with great naturalness.

What appeared on stage were not two separate collections, but a common vision declined in masculine and feminine. Deep blues, sand tones, dusty grays, the lightness of constructions and the fluidity of volumes crossed both wardrobes with a recognizable consistency.

At a time when many maisons chase rupture and the surprise effect, Armani seems to propose a different road: that of identity. Not an immobile identity, but a capacity to evolve without losing its codes.

The presence of the women’s Cruise did not appear as a foreign element. On the contrary, it reinforced the idea of an overall vision, able to cross genders, seasons and generations.

More than a simple men’s show enriched by a few women’s exits, Armani’s seemed a reflection on the very aesthetic of the maison: a system able to adapt and transform without losing its own measure.
