FOR MFW 23 MEN’S AND WOMEN’S SHOWS, GREAT RETURN OF GUCCI AND BOTTEGA VENETA

A calendar of men’s fashion week (14-18 January) which includes 23 fashion shows and 24 presentations, while digital events are reduced to nine. But also to find on the Milanese catwalks, after a series of traveling shows, Gucci  and – today’s news –  Bottega Veneta , on the occasion of women’s fashion week in February.

The Milan Fashion Week Men’s Collection  edition  dedicated to the Fall-winter 2022/2023 collections will be opened by  Zegna  (the first post-listing show, scheduled for Wall Street by the end of the year) and will see six brands present for the first time in the fashion show calendar including  JW Anderson  (the brand of  Jonathan Andersonn , creative director of  Loewe ) and  1017Alyx9SM , the project founded by  Matthew Williams  (creative director of  Givenchy ) with  Luca Benini  of  Slam Jam .

Among the debutants on the Milanese catwalks there will also be  44 Label Group ,  Federico Cina ,  Justin Gall  and  Jordanluca , in addition to five names present for the first time in the physical presentations calendar:  Ardusse,  Canaku ,  Family First ,  Dhruv Kapoor  and  Jet Set .

“Milan is becoming more and more a hub of reference that brings together the big names, new talents and independent creatives, showing itself as the city of choice to foster not only creativity, but also to accelerate the commercial evolution of the collections, given the presence in the city of the most important global multi-brand showorooms », commented the president of Cnmi, mentioning the recent partnership signed with  Csm  ( Camera Showroom Milano ) and  White , to increase the presence of international buyers during the fashion week.

Returning to the fashion week calendar, many events are expected that will enrich the calendar, including the 50th anniversary of  Cp Company , while Gucci will host the concert of the Australian band  Parcels .

This edition, which will also see the reconfirmation of the partnership between the National Chamber of Italian Fashion and the  Milan Fashion Film Festival , is for Capasa the prelude to a women’s fashion week that promises to be the strongest of recent seasons, “thanks to the involvement of  Maison Valentino , who will launch a program to support young talents, and the return of top-class shows such as those of Gucci and Bottega Veneta ».
