TASTE TOUR, a journey to discover and sample the products presented by over 370 companies selected from amongst the best niche and specialist producers from all over Italy. Once again at this edition the itinerary will be enriched by the new zone in the Alcatraz area. A journey filled with traditions and innovations: from the hand-processed pasta made by Italy’s leading pasta manufacturers to the best craft beers to the most curious new ideas such as Parmigiano Reggiano DOP Millesimato – marked with the year of production, duck foie gras with candied citron and the chocolate bar with sea salt … and lots more!
TASTE TOOLS, a selection of brands with their food & kitchen design items, clothing, technical equipment and innovative ideas for the kitchen. TASTE SHOP – a first for this edition – the Piazzale Gae Aulenti is the new location of the Taste Shop, the store where it is possible to buy the products displayed – and tasted – along the way – positioned at the end of the exhibition itinerary. Over 2,040 products, a total of almost 44,000 articles in the catalogue and more than 22,000 items sold at the last edition.
TASTE RING, the cultural-gastronomic arena orchestrated by the Gastronaut Davide Paolini. Inside the new Opera di Firenze space the protagonists of the world of food will tackle the hottest topics associated with the contemporary table. Plus,
TASTE EVENTS, not just a stage for the Rings, the space in the Teatro dell’Opera di Firenze will also host a packed program of events – exhibitions, book presentations, cooking competitions – linked to the world of coffee, the theme of this edition, featuring the special presence of La Marzocco with an exhibition space.
The space will also host the restaurant and the Pitti Club reserved for VIP Buyers.
