The delivery of the Oscars last Sunday’s awards marked the end of the conferment American season. In addition to actors and directors, the season of film awards has other winners: the fashion brands are able to appear on the red carpet in nearly two months of non-stop ceremonies ensuring an immediate return of image and, in some cases, the entry in the collective historical memory.
The Fashionista online magazine has compiled the ranking of most designer labels worn by actresses monitoring, in addition to the Oscar, also Golden Globe, Bafta and Sag awards.
Giorgio Armani won the first place of the podium boasting over ten appearances including Viola Davis, neo-Oscar winner (Best Supporting Actress) for her performance in “Fences”. The designer’s creations, often the Privé couture line, were worn by both overt as star Isabelle Huppert and Nicole Kidman is the new entry Millie Bobby Brown and Janelle Monáe. The second step of the podium there is Louis Vuitton, often chosen by actress and brand ambassador Michelle Williams. In third place Gucci, designer labels worn, among others, Naomie Harris, Dakota Johnson and Zoe Saldana.
