2027 AMERICA’S CUP
During the Genoa International Boat Show, Italy pulled the curtain on an ambitious plan: hosting the 38th Louis Vuitton America’s Cup in Naples in 2027. It’s not just another sporting event — it’s the rebirth of an entire coastline. The city is ready to turn its seafront into one of the most striking stages ever built for sailing.
Bagnoli, once a silent industrial zone, is now at the center of a transformation that blends innovation with tradition. Shipyards for AC75 and AC40 yachts, a superyacht marina, open squares, and media hubs will redefine the skyline. Around them, a Fan Village will take shape — giant screens, food stalls, and the hum of a city rediscovering its link with the sea.
Farther along Viale Francesco Caracciolo, the Race Village will stretch like a natural amphitheater facing the bay. Grandstands, stages, and the nearness of the regatta field will create a sense of proximity rarely felt in international competitions.
Organizers expect over a million spectators, drawn not only by the races but by the emotion Naples can summon when wind and waves meet its spirit. Beside the main challenge, the Women’s and Youth America’s Cup will enrich the narrative with energy and inclusion.
The Bay of Naples, framed by Mount Vesuvius, has already been called a “natural masterpiece.” Summer 2027 promises to be more than a date on the calendar — it’s a bet on beauty, courage, and the will to reinvent.
