MILANO FASHION WEEK 23-29 SET
From September 23rd to 29th, Milan returns to be the beating heart of fashion with the Spring/Summer 2026 Fashion Week . A week that is not just a calendar of fashion shows, but the story of a city celebrating its creative identity and its international role.
This edition is marked by a historic moment: Giorgio Armani’s 50th anniversary . The Group has confirmed both the Emporio and Giorgio Armani fashion shows and the opening of the exhibition at the Pinacoteca di Brera on September 24th. This event takes on a special significance: 150 archival looks will recount the brand’s evolution over the decades, a tribute to King Giorgio just weeks after his passing. Milan will once again showcase beauty just as he would have wanted.
The calendar is packed: 171 events , including 54 physical shows, 4 digital shows, 78 presentations, and 30 special events. Expected are the debuts of Demna at Gucci (with a private event previewing his first collection), Louise Trotter at Bottega Veneta , Simone Bellotti at Jil Sander , and Dario Vitale’s creative debut at Versace , who opts for an intimate event rather than the runway.
The big names who have defined Milanese fashion are also present: Diesel will open the week with its co-ed show, followed by Prada, Fendi, Dolce & Gabbana, and many others. Emerging talents will also be showcased: Giuseppe Di Morabito, Marco Rambaldi, Francesco Murano, and Institution will bring new visions and languages that speak to a different, more digital, and bolder generation.
The official campaign, shot by photographer Mattia Parodi and styled by Francesca Donnarumma, captures the Piazzale Lavater newsstand transformed into a pop icon. A tribute to a city that lives fashion not only on the runways but also on the streets.
Milan never stands still, and fashion is its brightest driving force. This Fashion Week is a collective ritual that unites past and future: it celebrates Armani’s greatness and opens the stage to new creative directors. Fashion, today more than ever, is a dialogue between memory and innovation—and Milan remains the place where this dialogue becomes a spectacle.
