FASHION MONTH SEPTEMBER 2025
September is the month when fashion takes over the world’s capitals and sets the pace for the seasons to come. Four cities, four weeks, a single creative breath that crosses oceans and borders.
New York Fashion Week (September 11–16) is in full swing: the city buzzes with shows, parties, and presentations. Among the highlights is the Michael Kors show, which has already brought the pace and style of his native New York to the runway. Coach and Tom Ford have confirmed the influence of the American school, while new names are emerging with fresh and experimental collections.
From September 18th to 22nd, it’s London’s turn, a hub for young talent and radical experimentation. Burberry will open the week, followed by JW Anderson and Simone Rocha, while emerging designers will use the calendar as a platform for bolder, more political visions.
Next up will be Milan (September 23–29), the beating heart of Made in Italy. Prada, Gucci, and Versace will lead the charge, but the most anticipated moment will be the tribute to Giorgio Armani, a celebration that promises to make history this week. Milan will also be the capital of major debuts: Demna at the helm of Gucci, Simone Bellotti for Jil Sander, and Louise Trotter for Bottega Veneta. A generational shift that will redraw the map of Italian luxury and open up new creative paths.
Finally, the grand finale in Paris (September 29 – October 7), where fashion becomes ritual. The runways of Saint Laurent, Dior, Chanel, and Louis Vuitton will alternate with special events, such as the exhibition Virgil Abloh: The Codes at the Grand Palais. Here, the most watched debut will be Pierpaolo Piccioli ‘s at the helm of Balenciaga, a transition that marks the end of one era and the beginning of another.
September’s Fashion Month isn’t just a calendar of fashion shows: it’s a gauge of an industry that continues to reinvent itself. Looking at these four cities, we realize that fashion remains a universal language, capable of expressing the desires and tensions of our time.
