The Milan Fashion Week men’s fall/winter 2025-26 opens with a calendar full of events, but not without significant absences. From January 17 to 20, over 70 events – including 16 fashion shows, 41 presentations, exclusive happenings and a day dedicated to digital – will animate the city, confirming the central role of Milan in the fashion panorama.
However, some of the most renowned fashion houses, such as Dsquared2, Moschino, Neil Barrett, Fendi, Gucci, Msgm and Jw Anderson, have chosen not to participate, probably shifting the focus to co-ed shows during the women’s fashion week in February. This trend, which has already involved brands such as Versace, Bottega Veneta, Etro, Ferragamo, Antonio Marras, Marni and Jil Sander, underscores the growing interest in a format that combines men’s and women’s collections in a single event. Despite these defections, Milan Fashion Week offers interesting ideas thanks to the presence of new protagonists and the return of some consolidated names.
Pierre-Louis Mascia makes his debut on the Milanese catwalk after his debut in Florence last June, while Pdf, the young brand by Domenico Formichetti, enters the fashion show calendar with great energy. Philipp Plein returns with his bold style, and Pronounce, the Italian-Chinese brand by Yushan Li and Jun Zhou, explores the dialogue between East and West. Other protagonists of the first day include Dolce & Gabbana, JordanLuca and Emporio Armani, bringing the best of Made in Italy creativity and elegance to the stage. This edition stands out for its attention to new talents. Among the most anticipated debuts are Saul Nash, who introduces a touch of freshness from London, and the young brands presented for the first time, such as Federico Cina, Rubinacci, People of Shibuya and Grossi. Furthermore, important collaborations, such as the capsule collection between Blauer and Pirelli, and the photographic exhibition by Fay with Michael Avedon and James Dylan at La Pelota, enrich the calendar with moments of great cultural and artistic value.
Digital fashion will have its space on Tuesday 21 January, with the debut of international brands such as the Saudi Kml, the Indian Rkive City and the Ghanaian Victor Hart, winner of the Camera Moda Fashion Trust Grant 2024. Dhruv Kapoor will celebrate the tenth anniversary of his brand, while Latorre will celebrate sixty years of sartorial excellence, demonstrating how tradition and innovation can coexist harmoniously.
