VERSACE RENEWS ITS STYLE: VIVACITY AND REFINEMENT IN BALANCE AT CASTELLO SFORZESCO

Versace’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection introduces a new energy, with renewed prints and a fresh but balanced style. Donatella Versace evolves her style, remaining faithful to the essence of the brand.

In the suggestive setting of the Castello Sforzesco, Donatella Versace presented the Spring/Summer 2025 collection, marking a chapter of renewal for the maison. The show closed the fourth day of Milan Fashion Week with vivacity, highlighting a fresh and refined style, capable of breaking with the past without losing balance.

Versace has been able to renew itself, courageously choosing to abandon some consolidated patterns, especially in prints. The baroque and fluorescent motifs give way to more delicate and poetic designs, such as the dog rose, a symbol of rebirth and tenderness, which dominates many looks of the show. “I wanted to give a touch of joy to a complex world”, explained Donatella Versace. However, the joy is not shouted, but expressed with sober elegance.

The color palette, played on soft tones such as lilac and butter yellow, gave the collection a refined aura, accentuated by the fluidity of the lines and the transparencies that slide on the silhouettes. Top models Gigi Hadid, Anok Yai and Vittoria Ceretti embodied the vibrant yet sophisticated spirit of this new phase for Versace, with outfits that combined romanticism and modernity.

The balance between vivacity and refinement was the true distinctive feature of the collection: from colorful polos paired with midi skirts to business shirts toned down by micro shorts, each piece reflects a self-confident woman who loves to dare without ever giving up good taste. The return of metal mesh, made of recycled materials, also underlined the maison’s commitment to sustainable and innovative elegance.

Versace has demonstrated, once again, that it knows how to respond to the times with a lively, refined and perfectly balanced style.
