THE UNMISSABLE EVENTS OF TODAY’S FASHION SHOWS
Milan Fashion Week is back in style, with numerous debuts, some important absences (Giorgio Armani above all!) and extraordinary collaborations. Let’s take a look at the fashion show calendar together, reviewing the 10 moments to keep an eye on to discover the new Spring-Summer 2025 collections.
From today until Sunday, September 22, Milan will become the hub of global fashion, hosting a series of presentations and catwalks dedicated to the Spring-Summer 2025 collections. What are the most anticipated events? Here is a selection of the 10 unmissable events for fashion enthusiasts, along with a detailed calendar of the fashion shows not to be missed.
We cannot talk about this edition without mentioning the great presences and, unfortunately, also the most notable absences. Many brands are returning to the catwalks, such as Fiorucci, which will show outside the official calendar, and Laura Biagiotti, once again a protagonist at Milan Fashion Week. The most felt absence will be that of Giorgio Armani, who will present the Emporio Armani collection, but not that of his main line. Blumarine will also be absent, since the debut of the new creative director, David Koma, has been postponed to next season.
One of the most anticipated shows is certainly Prada’s, whose Spring-Summer 2025 collection will be presented on September 19, with an exceptional lineup, including some Korean K-idols. No less important will be the Gucci shows, where Sabato De Sarno will continue his journey at the helm of the Florentine maison, together with iconic brands such as Versace, Tod’s and Missoni, all scheduled for September 20. The following day, September 21, we will see Dolce&Gabbana, Bottega Veneta and Ferragamo on the catwalk, among many others.
