Pitti Uomo, scheduled to take place in Florence on January 9, 2024, asserts itself as a crucial gathering of ideas and styles, solidifying Florence as the sovereign city of trendsetting and men’s fashion. From its elevated vantage point, Pitti Uomo captures the fervent desire of brands to distinguish themselves, emerge, and forge precious connections between clientele and brands. The confidence in a massive participation of international buyers is palpable, with the certainty that Florence and Pitti Uomo will provide an extraordinary stage.
The event transcends the mere definition of a simple intersection; it is a total immersion in an extraordinary visual world. The enveloping atmosphere of the historic Fortezza da Basso, with its centuries-old bastions, provides a breathtaking backdrop, transforming each booth into a sparkling gem in the vast panorama of men’s clothing. The strategic organization of the stands, with their unique performances, creates a visual harmony that translates into a vibrant symphony of styles, captivating the attention of every visitor.
Pitti Uomo is not limited to being a fashion event; it is a constantly evolving work of art, shaped by the magnificence of the historic Florentine fortress. Every detail, from the lighting of spaces to the exhibitors’ performances, contributes to creating an engaging and unforgettable experience for those who pass through the gates of this extraordinary hub of creativity and style.
The winter edition of Pitti Uomo, eagerly anticipated, will take place at the Fortezza da Basso from January 9 to 12, 2024. With 835 brands, 43% of which come from abroad, Pitti Uomo reaffirms itself as an excellent showcase for the Fall/Winter 2024-2025 collections. Buyers and specialized press are ready to immerse themselves in this unique context, reflecting trends, creativity, and the demands of contemporary society for three days.
The chosen theme for the 105th edition is “PITTI TIME,” a concept that permeates the new advertising campaign directed by Leonardo Corallini and coordinated by the creative director Angelo Figus. “Nothing resembles Pitti Uomo more than the temporal scan that, punctual, arrives every season to propose, present, compare, anticipate, and change,” comments Agostino Poletto, CEO of Pitti Immagine.
The densely packed program of events will see the succession of novelties, debuts, and special projects, with special guests like Luca Magliano and Steven Stokey-Daley, young designers who will be the protagonists of highly anticipated fashion shows.
Five exhibition sections, including Fantastic Classic, Futuro Maschile, Dynamic Attitude, Superstyling, and I Go Out, will span from classic to informal, also embracing the world of research. Special areas dedicated to pets and vintage will complement these sections.
Raffaello Napoleone, CEO of Pitti Immagine, emphasizes, “Pitti Uomo is, in all respects, an unmissable moment of comparison that makes Florence a leader in the sector of events dedicated to fashion. In a unique and spectacular context, bringing together all the protagonists of the international fashion scene, Pitti Uomo offers the opportunity for a unique overview of the new collections and to obtain valuable feedback on the trends of markets and major creative scenes. We are convinced, as always, that the Florentine setting will bring additional value to the special projects on the calendar.”
My intention is to capture the dynamic essence of street style by immortalizing people as they pass through that gate during their walk. This specific approach to photography gratifies me much more than posing shots in the area dedicated to “Pitti People,” as the boys with the most extravagant outfits are commonly called, carefully studied before the Florentine fashion event.
It will be a pleasure to meet you at Pitti Immagine Uomo, 105th edition. Feel free to send me a message to stay in touch.
